Now what are that cougar’s buddies going to be saying to him when he gets back to his canyon? Talk about a public humiliation. Perhaps he is an exceptionally gentle cougar. Perhaps he’s a vegetarian, likes showtunes, and long walks through the countryside. . . I doubt the chihuahuas are fluent in any of the various puma dialects, so you can understand how they would have misunderstood his intentions.
