How disappointed are our friends on the Left that the Times Square bomber wasn’t a Tea Partier? They were a-hopin’ and a-prayin’, weren’t they?

Unbelievable. Actually, it’s quite believable, and that is one of the reasons I hate politics. For all of the accusations leveled at the Bush Administration regarding the politicization of terrorism, I cannot remember one instance of W or his crew attempting to pin the blame on anti-war groups. Say what you want about Bush, but he did not demonize the people that opposed him. Perhaps this is the difference between man and man-boy. Perhaps it illustrates the fundamental difference between the Left and Right in this country.
Whatever it is, the Left’s inability to grasp the reality of the enemy we face is extremely troubling. The threats against this country transcend shallow party affiliation, and the Democrat party, as a whole, seems unwilling or unable to understand that. I’ve stepped in puddles deeper than this president and his party.
[P.S.--Before the emails start, I know that Bloomberg is an "Independent" but the views he expressed were consistent with the views expressed across the board on the Left. I didn't even touch on the "lone wolf", "no connection to terrorism" B.S. that was spewed over the weekend. Mark Steyn handles that neatly at the Corner. I literally weep for this country at times, late at night, as I pray. We're on the way down, though I believe we can pull ourselves out of this tailspin. Maybe.]

All my life I have questioned folks who demand I think and speak a certain way. As a member of the armed forces, we were briefed not to get too worked up over the Ft Hood thing. We were as American citizens told not to profile muslims in that massacre. Now Bloomberg is telling New Yorkers that the city will not tolerate folks getting even with muslims over this Times Square thing. If the mainstream media wasn’ t running so much cover for these guys they would all be laughed out of office by now…
There’s always a motivation behind whatever the administration does (any administration, Democrat or Republican). I think that a back-room deal was worked with the Muslim countries that they would back off attacking US troops in the Mid-East if we wouldn’t call a spade a spade with regards to domestic terrorism. Just a theory; you’d have to torture Obama to get the real facts.
How is it that elected leaders in charge of defending the people that are dear to us can so crassly take advantage of a terrorist attack on American citizens who happen to be in Times Square and immediately set about attempting to spin it to further their particular political agenda here at home. What the hell is this clown talking for, he and Schumer both? What is his mugg doing in front of a camera yammering on about things he knows not? Next time Big Boy Bloomberg wants to run out into the scene of an attack to flap his yams let’s make sure it is a hot zone in Afghanistan. I’d let him talk as long as he likes. I’d enjoy hearing whatever it is he would like to offer, and let him hold forth at great length. But here, stateside, sit down and pipe shut. Bozo.

In point of fact, the NYTimes–the Grey and August Fishwrapper of Note–first had the score as “SUV” being the main ID of this jackal. Of course they changed the tune in order to catch up to the larger reality of Paki origins and Islamist leanings only later, after the info hit the net not long after the fool’s Euro-styled clocks didn’t jive well with American EST timing.
Yet another bloke with ties to the wonderous ways of Islam. Nothing to see here. Thusly Hell itself is now adjourned. And we can all go back to pondering the fate of oil and birds and big banks and evil corporations making us grovel and plant car bombs.
Steyn is correct. Of course, he (like me, at a somewhat lower level) has gotten mocked for this “deep think” (sarcasm drips from the screen) moment that half the world’s horror moments are now instigated by guys following the Prophet.
Deep thinky-think? Maybe not, as Steyn once said. On the other hand, neither is the very open and honest appraisal that the sky is in point of fact blue on most days.
In other words, the obvious and the dire are being ignored for a REASON.
The Man-Child in office is stupid on some things. Sure. I’ll buy that. But when it comes to political muscle, bullying, and sharp insight on attempting to have events skewed in a certain light, he wins the propoganda wars hands down.
The fishwrappers and Denture Breath media who for the life of them can’t fathom that information is all over the Net and that the truth would come out at some point by default if by nothing else, are just the lapdogs.

On a side note, the Prez DID finally woefully acknowledged that (once again) NON-state actors (someone other than the FBI, CIA, the Department of Homeland Stupidity, and hosts of other alphabet signage clutter) were the ones who, like FLIGHT 93, stopped this thing in its tracks.
So…speak out and be heard if you see suspect activity. Unless you’re in Arizona.
The “state actors” were too busy checking out whether Aunt Millie and Uncle John were cooking up something for the next Tea Party rally. They were. Taco salad for 100.

I left as a squid in life and came back demoted.
On the plus side, blue crabs are quite tasty in crabcakes.
The only thing that gives me hope in all of this is that I know that God is in control and there are many qualified people out there that can take on the evil that is the Left. (ie Allen West, Vaugh Ward, Mike Rogers, etc.) otherwise, I would just give up. Knowing that there are more of Us than there are of Them is helpful but not knowing what it will take to get Us to be more vocal and active I must hold to my faith and trust.
