Watching the remake of The Parent Trap with the Girl. I’d forgotten Natasha Richardson starred in this. She was so beautiful and talented. It makes me so sad. She is missed.

Off-topic, but I thought you might find this interesting: http://ricochet.com/member-feed/The-Kardashian-Conundrum
The world that is still awake is all choking down the fiscal cliff deal, but the David Gregory attempted ambush of the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre still has me chuckling. Mark Steyn wrote a pretty great piece on it:
“There are two possible resolutions: Gregory can call in a favor from some Obama consigliere who’ll lean on the cops to disappear the whole thing. If he does that, he’ll be contributing to the remorseless assault on a bedrock principle of free societies – equality before the law. Laws either apply to all of us or none of us. If they apply only to some, they’re not laws but caprices – and all tyranny is capricious.”
And there was Howard Kurtz, assuring us all that the law, of course, should not apply to David Gregory, because, you see, he clearly was not going to committ a crime. What a dunce. The same argument applies to all law abiding citizens, which are the people that buy guns legally, as opposed to criminals like the drug trafficers that gunned down border patrol agent Brian Terry, or juveniles like Newtown killer Adam Lanza. The government’s rules only really apply to the law abiding. I guess Gregory is not one of those.
I suppose I should just write my own post about all this.
Happy April New Year 2013!
It’s the only way we’re going to turn this boat around.
That sounds like good fun! I loved Linday Lohan in that movie. So cute! And I was so happy when they all got together in the end!! As if they wouldn’t, right? I’m a big sap.
